Is it welcomed to import many useful files without meticulous gardening them?[edit]

For example https://flickr2commons.toolforge.org/#/user/atoach?max_pictures=1000 has many useful images - would be welcomed to import them if I would not add categories, tweak filenames and other gardening? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 07:47, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I didn't see images within half a minute at your link. As a general answer, uploads from Flickr illustrating in-scope topics are generally welcome. For example if you wish you can upload a full set of photos of an historic building, there is no need to only choose one. As to random undescribed photos or unsorted batches of photos, no. Please take the time to make sure that images you upload have adequate description and are in relevant categories. Thank you. Does that answer your question? -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 16:03, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Flickr license attribute numbers[edit]

to search on flickr with license filters, the url looks like https://www.flickr.com/search/?view_all=1&text=love&license=0 . the license attribute can be a number or a combination of numbers, e.g. 4,5,9,10 for "Commercial use & mods allowed". here i summarise the numbers. for what the licenses actually are, visit https://www.flickrhelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404078674324-Change-Your-Photo-s-License-in-Flickr .
